Pastel aesthetics and colored tops are always all the rage on Instagram, quite on equal footing with blacks and whites, two of the strongest colors in semi-casual fashion. This top brings together two brilliant elements of that aesthetic, namely, the elegance of a muted, pastel yellow colored top, and the richness of lace. To keep the vintage alive, we have tried to keep the richness of the lace work embroidery restricted to the bib/decolletage to make for a quite flirty top half, along with the tassel work on the neck. The main feature of the bottom half is the lacework and the longer sleeves, reminiscent of the classic peasant blouses. Pair this versatile and artsy piece with contrasting, or simply dark colored, bottom-wear, to create a versatile ready-for-all-outings ensemble.
